Using the CDC’s “Learn the Signs. Act Early.” Materials to Enhance Family Engagement

Kids don’t come with manuals although we are expected to know what is supposed to happen when. The Centers for Disease Control’s “Learn the Signs. Act Early.” materials are a great, free, set of tools to increase family engagement, encourage activities to promote progress, identify red flags, and make referrals when there are questions and concerns about development. Don’t miss this interactive session to expand your toolbox to help families.

This workshop is presented by Stephan Viehweg,

Associate Director, Indiana LEND

Riley Child Development Center

and the CDC’s Learn the Signs Ambassador to Indiana
