This lunch and learn will be focused on Recovery Community Organizations Best Practices.

Attendees will learn the definition of a Recovery Community Organizations (RCO) developed by Faces and Voices of Recovery.​

Attendees will be able to identify the difference between RCO core principles and core strategies of an RCO and how to implement both to meet RCO criteria.​​

Attendees will be provided with foundational knowledge of RCO governance and board development. ​​

Attendees will learn how to create a recovery welcoming environment and how to support multiple pathways of recovery.​​

Attendees will learn about RCO best practices offering peer support services through trained and certified peer professionals and peer supervision.​​

Attendees will be provided with foundational knowledge on the importance of creating and implementing policies and procedures when creating an RCO.
