This course explores addiction science and the concepts related to attachment theory.

In this class we take a strong look at one of the most impactful scientific theories that has been shared with the world of people helpers. We explore the ongoing development of substance use throughout history and learn to understand some of the historical systemic thought processes in regards to substance use here in America. We take a look at the discovery of attachment theory and explore the connection and the correlations between the science and show why this impacts so many people. Learning why connection is so vital to recovery and how our connections can make all the difference for us all.

This course provides 3 behavioral health continuing education units to all who complete the course.
