Objectives:
- Identify the importance of a substance-free pregnancy and its effect on the family.
- Discuss the complexities of mental health issues during pregnancy and after children are born.
- Analyze how stress has an enormous effect on the adjustment to the new dynamics in the home, healthy development in children, and the health of the family unit.
CEU Information:
This course provides 1.5 CEU’s. CEU’s are Category 1 CEU provided by Indiana State statute 839IAC 1-6-2(F)(86). MHAI Stanley W. DeKemper Training Institute provides CEU’s for the following:
- Addiction Counselors
- Social Workers
- Marriage & Family Therapist
- Mental Health Counselors
- Certified Peer Recovery Professionals (CAPRC, CARC, CHW/CRS, CHW, CCHW)
