Understanding Addiction for Caregivers

The Indiana affiliate of the National Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (INOFAS) is presenting a 1-hour workshop designed to help caregivers better understand addiction. Participants will:

  • Learn the difference between use, abuse and addiction
  • Learn how addiction changes the brain and patterns of behavior
  • Learn the importance of de-villianize biological parents
  • Learn constructive terminology
  • Learn strategies to have a healing approach to their caregiving
